Here is a picture of our favorite fish that we saw at the aquarium. It blended right into the coral and is called a frog fish.

Helicopter Ride

Tuesday we hung around the resort. We both had massages in the morning and were both surprised at how quickly we came down from the stress before the trip. We walked up and down the beach and found a food court (Cheap food!) and then hung out by the pool. For dinner we had sushi at Cascades. Our table had a great view of the ocean and sunset. We kept hearing a funny noise and asked the waiter. He said it was all of the bullfrogs in the lagoons calling out to each other. A moment I'll never forget!

This morning we got up and went for a helicopter ride:) It was incredible. We bought the DVD so let us know if you want to see it. We saw the waterfall that was in Jurasick Park and the island of Malakai. It's amazing to see how rugged that island is and that it hasn't been touched by humans in over a million years! On the way to and from the island we saw pods of whales swimming around.

On the way back we stopped at the aquarium. We took some great pics of the "picese" as Emma calls them. It's amazing here!

Now we are getting ready to hit the pool. Check in later for some more pics and updates.

Steve and I are in Maui! Here is a run down of what we've done since we arrived on Monday... We were delayed in LA for 2 hours which got us into Maui just in time for the rush hour traffic. I have three words for you....two lane highway:( We were delayed in total about 4 hours, but we finally arrived. The good news was that Steve spotted a whale while we were stopped on the highway...he was waving at us and welcoming us to the island:)

We are staying at the Hyatt and it's beautiful. The pool is really cool and the grounds are gorgeous. We checked into the room and Steve was starving so we started exploring the area. Isn't he cute???

The Zoo!

We are officially members at the Phoenix Zoo. We joined a few weeks ago. Here she is with her old "Boy Next Store" Jack. His parents are Tandy and Troy. We lived next to them in our condos. Tandy and Jack met up with us to look at all of the animals. Here they are looking at the Frogs...ask me how Emma pronounces FROG when I see you next if you haven't heard already:)

Emma goes to school!

Here she is making herself at home. It's through the window because I was spying on her. She seems to fit right in:)

Emma's 1st Day of School!

YUP! Emma is going to daycare 3 times a week. She goes on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays so she can hang out with kids her own age. So far she loves it. I think she's getting the hang of it and isn't looking at them like they are aliens:)

Gigi gave her balloons of all of her favorite characters. Java isn't so afraid of them anymore:)

Emma turned 2!

We had a little get together at our house for Emma's 2nd birthday. The family came over and she loved it when everyone sang to her. She blew out the candles before we finished singing...too cute! At the time she loved watching Nemo EVERYDAY, but now Steve has her watching a few different movies so we don't go insane!
